The original lithograph titled "Grimalkin's Royal Circus". A grimalkin is an archaic term for a cat. The famous prophet, Nostradamus, had a cat named Grimalkin, and in the Shakespearean play, Macbeth, a cat named Grimalkin helps the three witches see into Macbeth's future.
